#1(July)Amendment$0.0007/12/201707/12/201706/30/2018#1. MOVE $800 FROM Computer Hardware TO Tip Software: The cost for P3 tip management software is $2400 per year based on Broward County's population of 1.9M. Additionally, there is a one-time set up charge of $200 and a one-time data migration charge of $200 = $2800. Our budget was set at $2000 for renewal with the old vendor, TipSoft, leaving a shortage of $800. #2. MOVE $2750 FROM Computer Hardware TO Office Phone: The office phone is used by the organization to conduct official crime stoppers business in their office space. The phone bill is $242.00 per month for 11 months (based on the latest invoice received) totalling $2662. A small contingency of $88 for any unforeseen costs = $2,750 #3. MOVE $1000 FROM Computer Hardware TO Additional Software: For the purchase of up to 5 new Microsoft Office 365 software subscriptions at an average of 15/month per user X 5 users = $75/month X 12 months = $900 plus $100 for contingency against any unforeseen costs = $1,000. This will allow our organization to keep our computers current and in working order to conduct crime stoppers business and the amount is based on internet research. #4. MOVE $4435 FROM Computer Hardware TO New Item Remote Kiosk: for the purchase of 1 electronic kiosk device for use at the Broward County Courthouse to display information on the latest cases looking for tips and to help solve old, cold cases. $3895 for the purchase of the kiosk + license and data fees of $45/mo X 12 mos = $540, TOTAL = $4435 In all cases above, money from the Computer Hardware budget is extra as we were able to purchase computers at the tail end of Trust Year 2016-17.
