Modification of this item will allow us to promote our Student Crime Stoppers Program and tip line to students in Palm Beach County, in order to increase tips and decrease crime in our schools.
#12(Final)Amendment$0.0006/07/201806/07/201806/30/2018Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County is requesting a budget modification to transfer $9,300 from Bus Wraps to Bus Shelters. We estimate to purchase at a minimum 10 bus shelters (10 x $930 = $9,300) Modification of this item will allow us to promote our Crime Stoppers Program and tip line to citizens in Palm Beach County, in order to increase tips and decrease crime in our community. We are also requesting to transfer $325.00 from Travel 3 to Laptop Computer. The laptop computer is utilized to receive and forward tips and tip reports, obtain and prepare and send required grant documentation to the OAG on a monthly basis. This is a one-time expense of $325.00 (1 x $325 = $325).We are also requesting a transfer of $250.00 from Travel 3 to Additional Software. Additional software is needed for the laptop in order to open and prepare word documents, excel spreadsheets and any other documents that are needed in order to receive and forward tips, and obtain, prepare and send required grant documentation to the OAG on a monthly basis and Board of Directors correspondence and reports. This is a one-time expense of $250.00 (1 x $250 = $250).
