Deepwater Horizon - Individual and Business Claims

Process for Handling Individual and Business Claims

If you are considering a quick or final payment please read this notice regarding the release from future recoveries.

Beginning November 24, 2010, the Gulf Coast Claims Facility ("GCCF") will no longer accept claims for Emergency Advance Payment. Individuals and businesses may, however, make Interim Claims and / or a Final Claim to the GCCF through August 23, 2013, and then to BP as required. You may submit a claim for Interim or Final Payment even if your application for an Emergency Advance Payment was denied.

The official GCCF website is located at: www.GulfCoastClaimsFacility.com. Information about how to file a claim, how to check the current status of a claim, and answers to questions about the process is available from the GCCF website, toll-free help line at 1-800-916-4893 (for TTY)
