Provides personal advocacy, crisis counseling, follow-up advocacy and criminal justice support.

Certified by the Florida Department of Health Children's Medical Services as a Sexual Abuse Treatment Program (SATP). SAFE Kids Program specializes in the treatment of victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence. Ages from 3 to adult are treated in individual or family counseling. The goal is to stop the cycle of abuse within the family.

We offer independent living skills training; educational services; job placement; job readiness skills; peer support; information technology training; housing assistance; sign language instruction; information and referral; self and systems advocacy; one-on-one micro enterprise development; access to computers for banking, registering for services, paying bills, and using the internet; and disability rights education for any person of any age with a disability.

Working directly with victims of crime who have disabilities, through the criminal justice system. The Center also provides services to elders over 60 with or without disabilities.

Offer aid and assistance to entire population of disabled persons in meeting their specific needs.

Provides prevention education for elementary and high school students of Miami-Dade County

The 24 hour hotline provides crisis intervention, as well as information and referral for anyone concerned about child abuse.

The mission of the Children's Advocacy Center is to provide a child friendly, community based facility which allows a child victim to be interviewed, be provided with crisis counseling, have access to necessary medical examinations, and have the ability to access long-term counseling as needed.

Provides in-home counseling and support services for at-risk families when abuse and neglect has been alleged and/or confirmed.

Short-term shelter and crisis counseling and referrals for aftercare; in-home/office counseling up to 12 sessions and referrals for aftercare; case management for CINS adjudicated youth. Temporary shelter for runaway and at-risk youth provided at Safe Harbor Center.

Provides several programs directed to the treatment of abused and neglected children and their families.

Mentoring program; servicng boys and girls, ages 4 - 17 who have an incarcerated parent. Teen Parents Program: Serving teen parents ages 11 - 17; those who are pregnant or have a child. Project 18: mentoring fosgtor care children in licensed foster care facilities.
