Area Agency on Aging for SW FL plans, promotes and coordinates a network of services designed for people over the age of 60 and disabled adults. We advocate for innovative elder care. We are an Aging and Disablity Resource Center with valuable experience in administration and service planning, and we offer resources and services for clients, caregivers and others. We are a non-profit organization with contractual obligations to the State of Florida Department of Elder Affairs.

The Florida Department of Corrections Victim Services Office assists victims of crimes committed by inmates in the department's custody or under our supervision, and notifies victims prior to an inmate's release. Our office also provides referral services to victims with specific needs, such as counseling, support groups, crimes compensation, and crisis intervention. We further serve as the statewide office for Victim Information and Notification Everyday (VINE) Services.

This program provides civil legal assistance to crime victims at no charge.
Guardian Ad Litem, 12th Judicial Circuit
Provides representation through the juvenile justice system for child victims between the ages of 0 to 18, who have been abused, neglected or abandoned, to advocate for the best interests of the child.
Gulfcoast Legal Services
Legal advice and representation for domestic and immigrant victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking, including emergency legal advocacy//injunctions for protection; elderly victims of abuse, neglect, or exploitation; victims of human trafficking; and victims of other financial crimes or violent crimes. Referral to other GLS projects or private pro bono attorneys for other matters.

Manatee County Clerk of the Circuit Court
Provides assistance to persons filing injunctions for protection against domestic, dating violence and sexual violence. Staff provides information, referral and support in addition to clerical assistance with forms relating to injunctions.

National Alliance for Grieving Children
The National Alliance for Grieving Children lists grief support service providers who serve children, teens and their families. The National Alliance for Grieving Children does not evaluate or check the validity of certifications or licenses of any provider. In seeking grief support services and/or counseling, NAGC recommends that each consumer inquire directly with the providers listed as to their trainings and certifications, with the better business bureau or with any applicable governing licensing boards.

National Children's Advocacy Center
Provides training services to child abuse professionals through the National Symposium on Child Sexual Abuse, the National CAC Academy and other programs delivered throughout the nation. Also provides prevention and intervention services locally.
National Crime Victim Bar Association
As National Crime Victim Bar Association (NCVBA) provides attorney referrals for victims of crime for civil litigation. NCVBA also provides lawyers and other legal professionals information on civil litigation by crime victims, case law, and publications.
