The Communications Office serves as the Attorney General's liaison with the news media. As the primary contact for journalists interested in the Attorney General’s activities, the office provides information to newspaper, magazine, broadcast and wire service reporters on a broad range of initiatives. The Communications Office prepares and disseminates news releases and coordinates press conferences on behalf of the Attorney General, working closely with other units to keep the public informed about the Attorney General's programs.
