Attorney General Pam Bondi Provides Concerned Target Customers with Tips on Protecting Financial Information

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.—In the wake of the widespread Target data breach, Attorney General Pam Bondi urges Floridians to be vigilant in monitoring their financial activity and provides tips on safeguarding themselves from financial crimes. Those who swiped debit or credit cards at Target stores between Nov. 27 and Dec. 15, 2013 should be especially cautious.

“During holiday season, the last thing you want to hear is that your personal financial information may have been compromised. I urge all Floridians who shopped at Target between Nov. 27 and Dec. 15 to closely monitor their credit and banking statements for any unauthorized charges. These tips are intended to help consumers protect themselves from identity theft,” stated Attorney General Pam Bondi.
