Attorney General Pam Bondi Hosts Women's Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –Today, Attorney General Pam Bondi hosted the Florida Commission on Status of Women Event where three women were inducted into the Women’s Hall of Fame. The inductees, Clara C. Frye, Aleene Pridgen Kidd MacKenzie, and Lillie Pierce Voss were chosen by Governor Scott from a list of 10 distinguished nominees selected by the Florida Commission on the Status of Women for making significant contributions to the improvement of life for women and all Floridians. The Commission is administratively housed in the Attorney General’s Office.

“These distinguished women have touched the lives of countless people, and they have played an important role in making Florida the great state that it is today,” stated Attorney General Pam Bondi. “Each of these recipients is a well-deserving inductee, and it is an honor to recognize them today.”

The Florida Commission on the Status of Women is dedicated not only to empowering women, but also to recognizing the accomplishments of today’s women. Frye, MacKenzie, and Voss are the 86th, 87th and 88th inductees, respectively, into the Florida Women's Hall of Fame.
