CyberCrime Unit Arrests Osceola County Man for Possession of Child Pornography

TALLAHASSEE, FL—Attorney General Bill McCollum today announced an Osceola County man has been arrested on charges of possession of child pornography. Victor Carrasco was arrested by the Attorney General's CyberCrime Unit with assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.

During a routine undercover investigation, CyberCrime investigators discovered numerous images of child pornography and traced the images back to Carrasco's computer. A search warrant was executed at Carrasco's Kissimmee home where investigators seized three computers and a digital camera, as well as several CDs, DVDs and thumb drives. A preliminary forensic analysis of the computer identified pornographic images of children as young as five years old.

Carrasco, 57, was booked into the Osceola County Jail and will be charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography, which will be enhanced to a second-degree felony.
