TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –Attorney General Pam Bondi’s statement on the National Human Trafficking Awareness Month Resolution presented during today’s Governor and Cabinet meeting:
“In 2011, the National Human Trafficking Resource Center ranked Florida third in the number of calls received by the center’s human trafficking hotline,” stated Attorney General Bondi. “National Human Trafficking Awareness Month is an opportunity for local, state, and federal leaders to work together to raise awareness about efforts to combat human trafficking.”
