TALLAHASSEE, Fla.–In advance of Black Friday, Attorney General Pam Bondi’s Office is providing Florida’s consumers with a Holiday Consumer Protection Guide to help Floridians have a safer and more enjoyable holiday shopping experience. The guide, which is available online and by request, includes consumer tips regarding how to make secure online purchases and how to avoid charity scams. The guide also contains photographs and descriptions of items that have been recalled in the past year due to safety or health issues. Consumers can access the guide by visiting MyFloridaLegal.com or by contacting Citizen Services at 1-866-966-7226 and requesting a copy. To access the guide, click here.
“We are providing this holiday shopping guide in order to help Floridians avoid scams and have a safer and more secure shopping experience,” stated Attorney General Pam Bondi.
