Attorney General’s CyberCrime Unit Arrests Two Clay County Men for Possession of Child Pornography

TALLAHASSEE, FL – Attorney General Bill McCollum today announced that two Clay County men have been taken into custody and will each be charged with multiple counts of possession of child pornography. Derek A. Lee and his stepson, Jeffrey D. McMillan, were both arrested this morning by law enforcement with the Attorney General’s CyberCrime Unit after investigators discovered the two men had numerous images of child pornography in his possession. The FBI, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the Clay County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the arrest.

CyberCrime investigators located images of child pornography during a routine investigation and traced the images back to computers owned by Lee and McMillan. A search warrant was executed at their Orange Park home where three computers, numerous CDs and external digital storage devices were seized. The items removed from the home will undergo forensic analysis. An initial review revealed multiple images of child pornography, including some of children as young as seven years old.

Lee, 43, and McMillan, 21, will both be booked into the Clay County Jail and will each be charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography, a third-degree felony. The agencies involved are all members of the North Florida Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.
