TALLAHASSEE, Fla.–Attorney General Pam Bondi encourages Floridians to participate in National Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at locations throughout the state. This event provides a safe way to dispose of unnecessary prescription medications.
“Ridding your home medicine cabinets of unnecessary prescription drugs is one measure everyone can take to prevent prescription drug abuse,” stated Attorney General Pam Bondi. “I encourage all Floridians to stop by their local drop-off locations.”
This effort is organized by the Drug Enforcement Agency in conjunction with state and local law enforcement. Floridians can visit MyFloridaLegal.com and follow the Drug Take-Back Day banner to find participating locations.
