Orlando Man Arrested for Possession, Promotion of Child Pornography

~ Arrest is milestone number for CyberCrime Unit ~


TALLAHASSEE, FL – Attorney General Bill McCollum today announced that an Orlando man is in custody on charges of possessing and promoting child pornography. Jordan Goyena-Segura was taken into custody by law enforcement with the Attorney General’s CyberCrime Unit with assistance from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. Goyena-Segura’s arrest is the 150th for the Attorney General’s CyberCrime Unit.

Investigators with the CyberCrime Unit discovered Goyena-Segura’s possession of child pornography during a routine undercover investigation online and traced the images back to Goyena-Segura’s computer. A search warrant was executed at his Orlando residence and computer equipment was seized, which will undergo additional forensic analysis to locate any additional images of child pornography. Goyena-Segura, 20, admitted to possessing the images located during the investigation and making them available for further distribution.

Goyena-Segura will be booked into the Orange County Jail and will be charged with five counts of possession of child pornography, a third-degree felony, and one count of promotion of child pornography, a second-degree felony.
