TALLAHASSEE, Fla.--Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and the 25 other states challenging the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act today announced that they have filed a response to the Department of Justice's petition for U.S. Supreme Court review of the lawsuit. The states’ filed their response today instead of waiting until the due date of October 28.
“Today’s expedited filing shows that the states are committed to having the unconstitutionality of the health care law resolved as quickly as possible,” said Attorney General Bondi. “We continue to hope that this unconstitutional, unaffordable, and burdensome law will be struck down in its entirety.”
