TALLAHASSEE, Fla.–Attorney General Pam Bondi issued the following statement on the unanimous passage of the “Timeshare Resale Accountability Act,” Senate Bill 1408, in the Senate Regulated Industries Committee. Senate Bill 1408 is sponsored by Senate Majority Leader Andy Gardiner; the bill’s counterpart, House Bill 1001, is sponsored by Representative Eric Eisnaugle.

“I am grateful to Senate Majority Leader Gardiner for his leadership and to the Senate Regulated Industries Committee for their support of this bill that will help eliminate misleading marketing targeted at timeshare owners,” stated Attorney General Pam Bondi.
