TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –In an effort to raise awareness about prescription drug abuse and teens, Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Partnership for Drug Free America announce a Facebook Live Chat with NBA basketball star Chris Mullins on Thursday, March 14, at 12 p.m. EST. The chat will take place on The Partnership at Drugfree.org’s Facebook timeline. The live chat is part of The Partnership at Drugfree.org’s national campaign called the Medicine Abuse Project which is aimed at preventing half a million teens from abusing medicine within five years.
“I am proud to partner with The Medicine Abuse Project, which is making great strides in raising awareness about medicine abuse in teens,” stated Attorney General Pam Bondi. “I encourage parents to take advantage of the Facebook live chat and educate themselves on recognizing the signs of medicine abuse.”
