Pasco County Man Sentenced to 60 Years for Sexually Abusing Child Victims, Creating Child Pornography

TALLAHASSEE, FL – Attorney General Bill McCollum today announced that a Pasco County man was sentenced to 60 years in federal prison for sexually abusing child victims and creating child pornography. Kenneth Blage pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual exploitation of children and one count of creating child pornography. Blage was prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office after an investigation by the Attorney General’s CyberCrime Unit.

Blage was arrested in November 2009 after CyberCrime investigators learned he sexually assaulted at least one young teenage girl and recorded videos of the abuse, creating child pornography. Four victims have since been identified, and all are receiving services from victim advocates with the Attorney General’s Office. Investigators with the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement assisted with the investigation and arrest.

Blage was sentenced by U.S. District Judge James D. Whittemore for the Middle District of Florida. Upon release, Blage will serve lifetime supervision as a registered sex offender.
