Attorney General Bondi Introduces Resolution Recognizing Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month
TALLAHASSEE, Fla.—Attorney General Pam Bondi presented a resolution at the meeting of the Florida Governor and Cabinet recognizing March 2017 as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month.
“Thousands of Floridians with development disabilities contribute to our communities every single day and we must ensure they have all opportunities to be successful,” said Attorney General Bondi. “I am proud to introduce the resolution recognizing Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and the inspiring Floridians who are continuously overcoming immense obstacles. The resolution also honors the state’s Developmental Disabilities Services Program that works to improve the quality of life for Floridians with developmental disabilities, allowing them to achieve their greatest level of independence and self-sufficiency.”
