Attorney General McCollum today sent a letter to Florida Department of Education Commissioner Eric Smith certifying Florida’s Race to the Top application.

“With the collaboration of Florida’s teachers, parents, students, school boards, teacher unions and business leaders, this plan will accelerate reform, enhance student achievement and enable our children to have a world-class education system and to compete globally,” wrote the Attorney General, who called on the members of the Florida Cabinet and Legislature to support Florida’s bid.
