TALLAHASSEE, FL – Attorney General today issued the following statement after learning of the passing of Admiral Leroy Collins, Jr., the Secretary of the Florida Department of Veterans Affairs:

“My thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends and colleagues of Admiral Collins, who was a Naval Officer with an exemplary career, an exceptional public servant, and an advocate for our state’s thousands of veterans. Our state has lost a great man today.”
