TALLAHASSEE, FL – Attorney General Bill McCollum today issued the following statement in recognition of Rosh Hashanah, the start of the Jewish New Year:

“I extend my warmest wishes to Florida’s Jewish community as they prepare to celebrate Rosh Hashanah. We are so blessed to enjoy the freedom to worship in whatever manner we choose, and this New Year should be a time of celebration, a time of reflection, and a time of renewed commitment to our state, our families, and our beliefs.
