Attorney General Bondi's Weekly Briefing

This wonderful time of year is the season for giving. Unfortunately, there are still those who look to take advantage of the generosity of others. As the holiday season kicks off and Black Friday nears, I am releasing my 2016 Holiday Shopping Guide to provide consumers with information on how to shop safely.

This year’s guide contains a list of items recently recalled by the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission, including toys and other home products that may be unsafe for children. We are especially focused on the safety of children, so I encourage all consumers to read this guide to ensure that the products you buy are safe. To view the information-filled guide, click here.

If consumers have any questions about information included in the guide or would like to report an alleged scam, please contact my office at 1-866-9-NO-SCAM or visit MyFloridaLegal.com.

In closing, I want to wish all Floridians a very happy Thanksgiving holiday. Tomorrow is a time for us to be thankful for all our blessings and enjoy our loved ones. Whether you are traveling or staying home to celebrate, please be safe this holiday.
